The staff at Kaukauna Clinic are excited about reading!

Why is reading important? Across all ages, regular reading has shown to improve brain connectivity, improve vocabulary and comprehension, and reduce stress.

Kaukauna Clinic has been partnering with Reach Out and Read. In this program, children aged 6 months through 5 years receive a book at their well child check-ups. The program has been proven to promote family reading which in turn, leads to improved language development, greater empathy, improved connectivity within families— and it’s fun!

We want to give a shout-out to the Kaukauna Public Library. Our community library is a fantastic resource for information, entertainment, and education. The library is again sponsoring a Summer Learning Program available from preschool through adults. The program starts the first week in June, with opportunities to meet challenges and earn prizes. Make sure to check out the updated website!

We want to hear your stories! Write us on Facebook or print off one of the following coloring pages for your kiddo and we will hang it in our waiting area!
